The Wonder Project

This week in Te Ngahere we have started working on the wonder project. Two engineers came into our school their names were Gustavo and Troy. They taught us about science and technology, Gustavo told us that him and his team that work in Kerikeri made red kiwi fruit and its selling in the shops. They are also teaching us how to build mini rockets out of plastic bottles. I thought it was good because it was different and I hadn't learnt a lot about science and technology. We also got to choose who was in our group of 3-5 so I got to be with my friends. Have you made a mini rocket before?

Amazing Angles.

This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to measure angles with protractors. I learnt that a straight angle is 180 degrees. We also learnt about right angles, reflex angles, obtuse angles and acute angles. I found it hard to remember all of the names as well as the degrees of all of the angles. I found it easy when we had to measure the angles. Do you know how to identify different angles?
