This week in Te Ngahere we have been doing art. We are learning how to draw continuous lines, draw curves, rule straight lines, select colour effect and how to blend colours. First off we got a piece of paper with a slight outline. We had to go over the outline to practice drawing the picture. Once we get confident we then get a big piece of paper and draw the picture on the paper. It was really hard to see the outline when we were practicing so I keep going off course. One thing I like so far about the drawing is getting to draw the patterns. Have you done a calendar art before?

Hello Lily its jarvis here I remember when I did art like that before and it turned out really cool. Have you ever tried searching it up on your computer and trying to copy it from there? Also my teacher Jo Green told the class that she went to that school and she might have seen you. I have done calendar art before I really liked it.
ReplyDeleteBlog ya later.
Kia Ora Jarvis, thank you for commenting on my post. No we had to trace it out we were not allowed to copy it off the internet. I'm glad you took the time to read my post.
DeleteHi Lily this is Angela’s little sister Jaelyn - Marie from Te Maunga. I really liked your blog about calendar art. I like that your calendar art is really interesting and that you added what was tricky for you and what you liked so far. My answer for your question is yes I have done calendar art before. My question for you is what are the colors you used for your art?
