This week in Te Ngahere we had to build a castle out of card. We were learning about measurements by building a castle by measuring each piece out of card. First we had to get into a group of three, in my group I had Nevaeh and Jorjah. After we got into our groups we had to learn how to draw a straight line. We had to learn how to draw a straight line so that the castle would be symmetrical and it wouldn't be crooked. After we learnt how to draw a straight line we then had to draw it out on a piece of card. Next we measured and ruled the lines on the card we then had to cut it out. After we cut it out we had to stick the castle together with some tabs that we put onto the castle. Here are some photos to show what the castle looks like.
